Theatre By the Lake to Friars Crag
Thu, 10/04/2007 - 16:33 — pdjohnsonThis is a great route because there is a convenient level car park at the Theatre by the Lake. The Theatre has an ace cafe with descrete areas to breast feed and a baby changing room (on the first floor).
The level walk to Friars Crag takes you through the tree lined shores of Derwent water and shoud take no more than an hour or so even with a toddler. The views are rewarding, down Borrowdale and accross to fells like Catbells, Causey Pike and Robinson.
